Métier, Ltd., a leader in predictive project portfolio management software and services announced a contract win as part of the Lockheed Martin Transportation and Security Solutions team for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Electronic Records Archive contract. Lockheed Martin included Métier’s patented WorkLenz software as part of their differentiated program management approach to effectively manage the program’s schedule and risk and to interface with their earned value management system during the NARA Analysis and Design Phase. With this follow-on contract win, WorkLenz will continue to support the program through the remaining phases of the contract.

A major initiative to assist in the successful move to a government-wide electronic records database, the ERA system will cater to a wide variety of electronic media. Regardless of its format, the system will capture and save permanently electronic information while making it accessible to any current and future hardware platform or software program. Although the full system is scheduled to be completed by 2011, a functional subset will be operating within two years.

Last year, as part of its bid, Lockheed Martin named Métier as a partner for the team’s program management approach.
