U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Selects Métier for Project Portfolio Management

Métier, Ltd., an innovator in predictive project portfolio management software and services, today announced that it has been selected to assist the U.S. Agency for International Development's (USAID) efforts to improve and enhance key information technology processes, one of the goals under the agency's Business Transformation Plan.

Specifically, WorkLenz will automate the agency's Exhibit 300 business cases, the federal approval process for information technology investments. WorkLenz will provide an end-to-end system for capital planning, including creation, objective pre-scoring and XML submission to the federal Office of Management and Budget.

In addition, it can provide a framework that will allow USAID to refine processes across the Agency by delivering an integrated approach for project planning, monitoring and control, risk management and earned value.

Since 1961, USAID has been the principal U.S. government agency providing assistance to developing countries recovering from disaster, trying to escape poverty and engaging in democratic reforms. USAID fosters long-term and equitable economic growth and advances U.S. foreign policy objectives by supporting economic growth, agriculture and trade, global health, democracy, conflict prevention and humanitarian assistance.
