Métier Provides Automated Scoring Against PMI’s Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3™)
Métier, Ltd., an innovator in predictive project portfolio management software and services, today announced that real-time scoring against Project Management Institute's (PMI) Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3™) is now available in WorkLenz.
PMI's OPM3 standard provides a framework to advance an organization's strategic goals through the application of effective project, program and portfolio management. OPM3 is similar in nature to maturity models for product and service development, such as the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI). With the three interlocking elements of knowledge, assessment and improvement:
- OMP3 provides a comprehensive body of knowledge regarding what constitutes best practices in organizational project management;
- Using OPM3 and its compilation of recognized best practices, an organization can determine areas of low maturity in its project management processes; and
- OPM3 provides guidance on prioritizing and planning to increase maturity.
By combining this OPM3 assessment with the predictive portfolio management capabilities in WorkLenz, organizations have real-time visibility into their process maturity.
